The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, called Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday.

 King Salman has condemned Israeli attacks in East Jerusalem and aggression on the Gaza Strip.

  According to the Saudi news agency SPA, King Salman prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks and wished peace and security for the Palestinian people.

"Saudi Arabia will continue its efforts at all levels to stop the Israeli attack on Jerusalem, and will continue to put pressure on the Israeli authorities from all parties," he said in a telephone conversation with the Palestinian president.


 On the occasion, the Palestinian President praised Saudi Arabia's position and said, "I am grateful for the efforts of the Saudi government and the interest of King Salman from the platform of international, Islamic and Arab organizations to stop the Israeli aggression and help the Palestinian people."  Are '.


 In addition, the Saudi Foreign Office welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and paid tribute to Egypt's efforts in this regard.


 The Foreign Ministry also commended the efforts of all other international parties in this regard.


 According to the Saudi news agency SPA, Saudi Arabia expressed its desire that "all parties work together for a just solution to the Palestinian problem and that this solution be in line with the aspirations of the Palestinians."
